KeeneTM Building Products’ DriwallTM Rainscreen is a drainage mat designed for external wall systems. In the majority of external veneer applications, such as manufactured stone, natural stone, siding, thin veneer, brick veneer, stucco, and other masonry applications, the entangled net product removes incidental moisture issues.
Moisture issues are becoming more prevalent as a result of buildings being more “tight” for thermal protection, which increases the demand for ventilation and hydrostatic pressure release. The water-resistive barrier is rolled over by the full-wall DriwalITM Rainscreen product to keep it apart from the outer veneer.
