Because it adds nutrients and helps to amend existing soil, our Premium Top Dressing mix, which is a blend of sandy soil and compost, is ideal for spreading on top of existing grass or using when adding grass seed. Applying 1/4 and 1/2 of a top dressing layer to your lawn will yield the best results. Await mowing or strolling in the area until the grass is completely established.
